HARVEST CALENDAR

Salad greens in March, tomatoes in April, and carrots in January - you can eat local produce year round in eastern New York! Many vegetables may be available earlier and later in the year from farms using season extension techniques, like greenhouses and row covers. Some vegetables, like spinach and leeks, can overwinter in the field.
