PREVIOUS PROGRAMS Farmstead Cheese Making Workshop (Nov. 10-11, 2004) This two-day hands-on cheese making workshop for farmers will take place in Ballston Spa, NY (Saratoga County). Up to six diverse cheeses will be made and taught during this introductory class. Instructor Peter Dixon is a Vermont cheese maker and dairy foods consultant with 20 years of experience. He has taught a number of classes for RFFP and assisted numerous dairy farmers in setting up small cheese plants. Up to 12 dairy farmers and serious prospective artisan cheese makers may take this class. The course fee of $200 - $250 for RFFP members covers instruction, catered lunches and course materials, including recipes. The non-member fee starts at $250.
